DR. RAMIRO BLANCO
Dr. Blanco graduated in 1970 from the University del Zulia, Maracaibo, Venezuela. He practiced general dentistry in Venezuela, as well as having clinical appointment as Director in the Social Security Services of Venezuela through 1974. In 1978, he obtained his Masters degree in Periodontology at Boston University Graduate School of Dentistry, as well as his certificate in Orthodontics in 1985. Dr. Blanco held the position of Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Periodontology through 2004. He then joined the faculty at Harvard Dental School as Program Director in the Department of Periodontology.
Dr. Blanco has lectured extensively abroad as well as in the USA. He has been part of our Fitchburg practice since 1998, as well as maintaining a private practice in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, American Academy of Osseo-integration, Massachuesetts Dental Society and the Merrimac Valley Dental Association.
